Our Program:
- Focus on whole child development - ages 2 ½ to 6 years.
- Meet developmental needs of each child individually.
- Provide a stimulating environment.
- Support in language and cognitive development.
- Provide consistent personal relationships.
- Support the families.
- Provide opportunities to interact with peers.
Colorado Preschool Program in the Kersey School District:
- Held at the Kersey Early Learning Center.
- Goal is to promote family support and academic achievement.
- Focus is on help to children of linguistic family and/or economic disadvantages.
- Prepares children for learning in elementary school.
- Eliminates the need for special education placement in the higher grades.
- Promotes higher graduation rates.
- Attend classes 2 days a week.
- Requires an application, screening, health history, and a parent interview.
