Eaton Families:                                                                         August 2010

We are gearing up for another full year of enrichment programming.  We are planning enrichment clubs at Eaton Elementary, Benjamin Eaton Elementary and are working on putting together a couple of clubs for the Middle School age group.

Clubs will start in September and run through April 2011. Some of the clubs will run for a month with others lasting longer depending on the time needed to complete projects.  We will be releasing calendar of clubs as school starts.  We are also working to team up with 4H of Weld County so that some of our clubs can be run through their programming allowing the students projects to be shown at the 2011 county fair.  As more info is available we will get it out to the parents.

Registration forms for the clubs will continue to come home monthly, with registration happening on a first come first serve basis.  Registrations will need to be turned in at the respective schools or Eaton Early Learning Center.  We will charge small fees for the clubs.  Fees will be based on instructor stipends and supplies needed for the club.  We will once again offer scholarships for clubs; one scholarship per semester per student.  You can find the scholarship form on the back of the registration form.

Some of the clubs that are being planned include:

fine arts yo-yo decorative sewing garden club finger knitting
drama La Crosse dodge ball crochet photography
karate book club yearbook science French
dance jump rope hunter safety archery soccer
Spanish snazzy snacks
(no bake cooking),
babysitting certification

We are always looking to add clubs and would love your input.  If you have a hobby or a skill that you would like to share with our children please contact Nina Lewis at 970-371-2401.

Thank you for your support of our enrichment programming.  We look forward to another very successful, fun year!
