happenings at the center

We hope everyone had a great January as it went by so fast.  February will be just as busy.  We will have our Valentine’s Day parties, parent meeting and a trip to the Barnyard presented by the FFA at the Eaton High School.  Please look for sign up sheets posted by your child’s classroom door for events that will be happening. Teachers will also be sending home permission slips for any kind of field trips that their class may take.

Our next Parent Group Meeting will be Wednesday, February 17th at 4:00.  We will be discussing the spring concert as well as plans for a field day.  We hope to see new faces at the meeting.

Enclosed with the paper newsletter was a survey for summer preschool.  It is already time for us to be making plans.  Please fill it out and return to Jen as soon as possible.  We need to generate class lists and prepare for our summer activities.  If you have any questions about the summer preschool please let us know.

 Have a great month.

Illness Policy

Please remember that our illness policy is that children need to be free of illness or on antibiotics for 24 hours before they return back to school.  This includes fever, vomiting and other contagious illness.  If your child vomits in the middle of the night, wakes up and is not vomiting, they still need to remain home for that day.  Waiting for 24 hours ensures that they are no longer contagious.
